Emptiness. A word that feels negative, sad. Drained. But why? Of course, the loss of something brings grief, which is, many times, what we mean when we say empty. But does the marsh feel sad when the tide runs out and leaves the bog empty? It\u2019s actually the time when birds can come and find the gems of nourishment more easily. The cycle of nature is to fill and empty over and over, with growth in between. Without the emptying, there\u2019s no room for growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
